About Me

I’m a multi-disciplined freelance creative designer from Shropshire, England. Since graduating from Wolverhampton University in 2011, I have worked with many local and international businesses, start-up ventures, design studios and many iconic brands. The work I produce is lead by an unrelenting desire to produce clean, effective and high quality design.

Why use a freelance designer?

There are a number of reasons clients prefer using a freelance designer as opposed to a design agency. The main reasons being; we are faster, cheaper, and most importantly able to establish a direct personal understanding and involvement with each brief – resulting in more relevant, powerful work. By using a skilled freelancer, you will get the same work you’d expect from a top design agency, without the red tape and at a fraction of the price.

My experience

I graduated from Wolverhampton University in 2011, with a BA Hons in Graphic Design and Visual Communication. After graduating, I worked in Burton-upon-Trent for two years, gaining experience in working for iconic brands such as Molson Coors, Heineken, Carlsberg and WKD.

After a further two years working with some of the UK’s leading hospitality and cosmetic surgery businesses, I joined Microsoft Studios in 2015 to help produce the user-interface for their upcoming title: Forza Horizon 3. A triple-A Xbox title receiving universal acclaim from critics upon release. With an average critic score of 91/100, based on 90 reviews, it the most-acclaimed Forza Horizon title to date.

With nearly a decade of experience in design, I have worked with a huge variety of businesses and brands across the UK.

My work

“Simplicity is not the absence of clutter; that’s a consequence of simplicity. Simplicity is somehow essentially describing the purpose and place of an object and product. The absence of clutter is just a clutter-free product. That’s not simple.” Sir Jony Ive

I dedicate myself to producing clean, meaningful and powerful design work.
